Your Backyard
Your backyard, your backyard, let us discuss that for a moment.
Is it everything that you would like it to be? Enjoyable, beautiful, relaxing. A place where friends come and admire? Or is your backyard just a place where the lawn gets mowed?
Are there bird houses in your backyard? How about chairs, a swing, what about a fountain?
Your backyard is an extension of your living space from the inside. It should be enjoyable a place that is very relaxing. Your backyard should be a place to watch sunrises or sunsets. And if you live in the country, it could very well be a place for watching wild life.
A place for entertaining family or friends. Some of the best times I ever had with my family especially my mother came while sitting in the backyard. Watching the woodpeckers and the humming birds.
Fire pits have become a very popular thing now a day for your backyard. Everyone seems to want one. They seem to make for a very relaxing ambience. Put on some music, watch the stars check out the big dipper, Sounds like a relaxing backyard to me!
Everyone needs a sandbox and a swing set for the little ones. Badminton, basketball, and horseshoes the number of games are endless.
A stress free place for gardeners. Some women like to work in their flower gardens all day and then some. You just can’t seem to get them out of their backyard. But their backyards are beautiful. Everywhere you look you see roses of all colors daylilies of all shapes and sizes, geraniums, mums, iris, impatience, the list goes on and on. Cute little figurines in the corners or a large fountain in the middle.
So come on, be a backyard person. Fix up your backyard just the way you like it.
Make it exciting. Make it relaxing. Make it fun. Your backyard could be the envy of the whole neighborhood. Too many flowers to count or a walkway leading to a relaxing bench under the old oak tree. You just might surprise yourself as to what you can do with your backyard. And when it is all done, it will become your most favorite place to be.
